Good looking necklace! The one complaint I have is that in the box, it ships with the necklace only secured at two points, and so the rest of the necklace is free to flop around during transport, which in my case led to 3-4 of the center pearls having a very noticeable scratch on them from where the necklace rubbed against the metal clasp. I think Pearl Source should add a third securing point at the bottom of the necklace so it doesn't rub against itself during shipping. I'm attaching a picture of a few of the scratches and also a reference picture of the way the necklaces are shipped with the bottom of the necklace unsecured.
The earrings are perfect size and the color is very pretty!
I purchased the 8mm Akoya pearl in yellow gold. It arrived very quickly and was packaged just as the video showed. I am very pleased with the necklace and my wife really likes it!

The color and luster literally made me tear up. Sure I’m no pearl aficionado. My only experience was visiting the pearl shops in China. I was able to sit down in “back room” while my tour group visited the Great Wall. While having a long, informative conversation about China and pearls, I saw many beautiful pieces in that room. These three little pearls took me back to that day.

the pearls look good and the wife is happy with them, which is what matters the most. but since i ordered the highest akoya quality it didn't look to me that they were the highest quality. of course, i do not know anything about jewelry or pearls, i just have to trust that they were of the quality i paid for. I am going to have a professional local jewelry store to look at and will report on it again
